Grammar is not magic, all you have to do is follow rules.
1. make sure you have agreement in number for nouns and verbs. In English we have few verbs that change with singular or plural subjects, but we do have some. Simple, but getting the verb wrong can be deadly in your writing, and in an interview.
They are leaving now. He is leaving now. I have 6 loaves. She has 6 loaves.
2. Make sure your past participles follow the educated American style that is the norm. I should have gone, left (some populations say should have went, but this is not the educated norm)
